Revision Reflections
This portfolio assignment proved my most accomplished. The only revisions I included were to make the image larger so that the different elements were easier to view as well as adjusting the text to reflect the different locations of some of the items as well as excentuating some of the metaphorical placements of the items within the overall image.
This represents my Personal Learning Environment. Those images within my head are those I regularly use now. These include resources that I draw from UW-Stout, North Hennepin Community College, and University of Phoenix. The individuals whose expertise I draw most from include the Education and Development Department at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare: BH (Beth - my manager), Tom (with glasses), and John (below Tom). Another individual that I turn to for advice is GBC (Ginny leads an online program for a UK-based university). Two groups whose questions I need to find answers for regularly include the NERDS (Urkel), which is the Nurse Educator committee at Gillette and my students (classroom image).
Resources that I am currently exploring (those right in front of my nose) include Scoop.It, YouTube, Facebook, Skype, and the eLearning Guild.
Resources that I see in the future I will need to add to my toolbox include Linkedin, Flickr, and Twitter.
